Haven updates the blog

 WELL,

 I guess it is up to me, since gma is slacking off again!!!

 

Yup, once again someone is working at gandg's!!! My big brother Lukas and I loved hanging out on the deck watching!

We actually spent the night and aunt Yaya stayed too!! She and Lukas had a snake fight!

Here I sit.....waiting...and waiting for that snake fight to end. I found it quite boring and I was just waiting for some aunt Yaya time!!!!

Finally, I love my aunt Ya so I gave her a big smooch!!

  

Hey, she asked me where her nose was?!?! If by now she didn't know where it was, I was happy to show her!!! hehe :)

I am at gma's mercy when it comes to the pics that get posted. That is something I haven't figured out how to do yet. So, why this one you ask? Gma says it is because I am the cutest (I have to agree), when I am mushing up my face!

Gpa, aunt Ya and Lukas went Kayaking and when they got back,

 gpa told me all about it!

No, I am not biting gpas leg here, just the angle of the pic.

When we were done with the conversation, gpa tried to help me keep the hair out of my eyes......can you believe he is doing that. Actually I have it all figured out, I have him so tightly wrapped around my finger!!! :)

 

I spent a little time teaching Ya about kittens, and puppy's!

We decided to head outside again and see what progress had been made on the rock wall that is going in and I needed a better view!! Just an FYI, I LOVE to climb. Isn't that what your supposed to do!!!??

  

Apparently I am supposed to be CAREFUL!! Who knew??

Gma said to let you know she will do a whole blog on the new project.

 SOON!!

Till then she said something about you just taking in the cuteness that is me!!! lol :)

Hear Ye'

 Hear Ye, Hear Ye' gma is really doing another blog!! No fainting people!! :)

Lukas is into a LOT of different things lately. Planes, trains, lizards, frogs, and bugs are all favs right now. He is especially fond of scorpions for some reason!! He is very attached to his things, and is very careful with them all. So, I was VERY proud of him when he let Haven help him pick up his lizards and frogs!!

Could this young miss be any CUTER!! I think NOT!!!

You can't see it in this pic but she had to have a blood test earlier in the day, and still she smiles!! xoxox this girl!

Haven loves to look at the pics in this book. Lukas was pointing out various things to her. As you can see he was putting tons of effort into it!! hehe

You can also see that poor Havens arm was starting to get a bruise!

Someday Haven will hate me for this someday........but I love the little folds in these little legs!!

She gets very excited when she is outside. She will stand near the door while you are getting ready bouncing up and down and giggling. She was happy to be sitting in the sun!!!

We got a visit with great grandma Stark last week and she brought Lukas a treat. He looked in the bag, asked her if they were from her garden. When she said yes, he grabbed one and got ready to take a bite, then asked her if she had washed them!! The answer again was yes, and he was full of cukes in no time!!

A couple days later and the kiddos were back to spend the day. Overnight we had heard a large branch or tree fall down. He wanted to go and check it out right away! It was pouring out and his rain jacket was at his house. He did have his boot though!

So out to the garage he went with gpa to make a garbage bag coat!!

TaDa all set to explore!!

Haven was doing some of her own exploring in the garage!!

With that gpa and Lukas were off to see what they could see. Almost looks like snow doesn't it!!!

They looked and looked and got plenty wet and still couldn't figure out what had fallen!! Hmmmm........

Keeping it up!!

I am trying to keep my word and not fall behind on the blog so here is a quick update!

Lukas took this picture out the dining room window. He was quite excited because he and gpa had put a deer block out last fall and finally they were using it!!!

Me on the other hand........Last thing the plants need after all the hot dry weather is deer eating them!!

Along with the weird bugs that have been showing up this summer, another strange thing!! Dave was walking by the "kids" room and saw something moving in the window. At first he thought it was one of those YUCKY HUGE spiders we found in the garage.....and if that was the case.....we are moving!!!! :)

Thankfully, it was just a tree frog!!! Any ideas on how this got in here!?!?!

One more step in the garage project is complete....it is now electrified!!!

Dave filling in the trench and putting one more problem to rest!!

Kiddo day and Lukas wanted to see if the ATV was still in the shed...haha

It was and he was really happy about that and wanted to go for a ride!!

They had a really fun ride in the woods!

Once the ride was done it was time to clean up....and yup Dave parked it on the lawn??!!  Note: how awful the lawn looks, dry, hot, and fertilizer burned!!!

Lukas was a great helper!!

Next on the list.....Dave got the wiring done and started putting up the insulation and wall board in his garage.....You know it has to be comfy in all weather conditions, for sleeping!!! :) :)

When I walked out to see how things were going....... someone worked really hard! :) :)

Sorry honey!

Can't leave our Miss Haven out of this!! She has been a little under the weather and aunt Yaya was ready and willing to spend some cuddle time!!!

So that was this and a little of last week!! Proud of myself for following up on this!

Happy Birthday dear Haven....how has a year gone by already?

One year ago Haven Quinn Ward was born.

 Immediately she was a welcome addition to our family!

A sweet little miss, that we had worried about while we waited her arrival. Perfect in every way!!

We celebrated with some cupcakes.

Our little sleeping beauty. Look at that little round face, and you just want to kiss it!

Mommy could not be happier, and neither could we. What a ray of sunshine she is!

 Without a doubt she is smiling at her gma!! :)

What, it's my blog I can believe whatever I want! :) :)

I have not been a very good gma. I have not blogged and put up pictures of this little miss as often as I did with her brother. I have taken tons of adorable pictures (well they are all adorable!!) and I have posted many of them on FB, just not on here like I should!

There are times and certain angles that I think she looks just like her big brother. When I look back at these pictures my heart melts! 

Here she is getting some sailing lessons from her big brother Lukas. Having a baby sister has been a bit of a challenge for him. You have to remember that when he was first told that he was going to have a new baby in the family he said NO, I just want a dog!! hahaha.... He is turning into the best big brother!!

She has always been interested in everything that is going on around her!!! Even now she has to know what is going on!! That is good until you are trying to get her to take a little nap.......better hope she doesn't hear something....or that is NOT going to happen!! :)

Looking through the pics I can see that little open mouth, tongue out pose started early!! :)

Yup, that is her foot in her mouth!! The cutest thing EVER!!

Places to go and people to see. She did the cutest roll instead of crawling for a long time. No problems getting from one place to the other!

 Haven has her gpa wrapped tightly around her little finger. I am pretty sure she can do anything she wants. Right now she runs to him and say daaaaaaaaadid (or something close to that) grabs at his pant legs and reaches up! The other day he was in the other room with the door closed and she heard his voice and went running. When she couldn't get in she flopped on the floor and started to cry....little bugger!!

 One of the toys that big brother used to play with. It plays music, and this lady does LOVE here some music. She is a little dancer too. It is a great way for an old gma to get her into the livingroom. She is off and running so I push a button on the truck and she comes back in to dance!! We shall see how long that lasts!! :)

Nothing to hold her back, she started walking around furniture really early on!! 

And from the very beginning she wanted to CLIMB.....and holy cow does she LOVE to climb. She pulled this over to the couch even before she could walk and stood up so she could get on the couch!!!

 Haven hold a special spot in her aunt Yaya's heart. Just in the last few weeks she has started saying Yaya and greets Sarah with open arms when she see's her!! I can guarantee you that she LOVES it!!

Off and running at 10 1/2 mos. Once she figured it out she was off and running....no stopping this little one!

One of Haven's favorite places to play...she can pull out the videos and carry them all around....then put them back....and out, and back....you get the picture!

I sure am smitten with this little miss. What a joy it is to watch her explore and learn.....She sure is different than her brother!! :) If she sees it, then it must go in her mouth! Sit and play with something for a bit...I think not!! :) She is very inquisitive, and loves to explore, watches you do something and tries it herself! :)

How is it possible for her to be one year old already!? We celebrated her birthday a few days early. She never stopped going! She ran an played and ran and played. She was not as interested in her cake as Lukas was in his! But, she did oblige on making a huge mess!! :)

We LOVE you little girl! You are saying a few words, my favorite is ammaa of course! I am taking that as gma! :) Also, that deep HI you say with such a BIG smile!

I look forward to all the new adventures we will share in the coming years!
