Where has the time gone?!?!
How is it possible that he is 3 yrs. old already?!?!
He wanted a digger party so that is what he got!
Amy's mom and dad kindly hosted the party at their house. As you can see not a decoration in sight!!! hehe
Thankfully the noisemakers were with out the noise!!!! This is Sydney, the young miss from where he goes to daycare. She wanted to make sure that Lukas liked what she was wearing!!! Too cute!
A game of tractor, tractor, digger was in order....a play on duck, duck, goose! He was not too happy to be a tractor....he only wanted to be a digger!!! :) His cousins and friends play along!
Next up a little pin the bucket on the digger was in order. After the kids had a turn Jesse joined in. I think the kids enjoyed turning him around more than the game itself!!
Gift time is always the best part.....right?
Mommy and daddy got him walkie talkies and they only wrapped one...Daddy hid and made the box talk. As you can see he was intrigued!! Sweet!
Jesse and Amy made the digger cake and it turned out so nice...Don't ask if I took a good close up shot??? He got some new power tools from aunt Ya and he wanted to use them to cut the cake! :) :) Cousins look on, with a little concern!
Ummmm......let me think here.....frosting on the blade??? Now what to do...RESPECT the blade or go for it!?!?!
COME ON!!! It's frosting what do you think!!!???
He will respect the blade later!
Looks like Sydney enjoys cake just like Lukas does...and yup he may have snuck his finger into her cake while he waited for his own piece of cake!
Finally, we get to eat cake!!!:)
As always Lukas did not disappoint when it came to enjoying his cake!!
You have to make sure to get EVERY last crumb in!
There got it.....now to be able to chew!!! :)
Just a little taste of the fun from his big day. Lukas you are the most perfect little man. So full of life. You amaze me all the time with how smart you are. The things you come up with....OMG. Your imagination is beyond...well beyond imagination!! :)
You are very good natured and although you are 3, we have never really experienced the terrible 2's..and see no signs that we can expect the terrible 3's!!!
Gpa and I LOVE you soooooo much. You are without a doubt our special little man.
Next up....a story on the VERY special gift gpa made for Lukas!
