Halloween weekend

One of the things we have been concerned about since Lukas is much more mobile is the open stairway in our living room. We put a gate up but this house was built before the days that the rails couldn't be too far apart. And since we were sure he could fit through grandpa came up with a solution the would look good. He is one smart grandpa!

It sure turned out looking good. Now all we have to do is paint the gate to match and we are safe and sound in that area. I know I said it before, but man you sure don't realize how many things there are to get your hands on when you are little!!

As soon as Lukas came for a visit grandpa helped him check it out!!!

This weekend was Halloween and aunt Sarah went out with some of her friends as a flapper. She showed Lukas a piece of her outfit!! He seems a little confused!!

Once again Sarah donned the hat to keep Lukas occupied while Amy put him in his costume.

What a cute little owl he is.

When he waved it looked like he was flying. I am not sure how many times in the last few days that he has been in and out of this outfit but he never seemed to mind.

He is a little helper.....here he is dusting off g-mas coffee table.

Mom wanted to get a little owl snuggling in. Who can blame her he sure was snugglie in his owl head. Amy said they were at the mall on Saturday and someone said he was a cute little turkey.......TURKEY?????

Like she said " Turkeys don't wear glasses!!" What is wrong with people!?

Can't have a blog with Lukas and have all this silence , so during lunch we had this conversation.

All the party's and Trick -or-Treating can wear a body out...so while the boys were out for a bike ride the girls and the owlet took a little snooze!!

And yes, that is sun light making its way into the living room. It wasn't long lasting but these days you take what you can get.
