Backwards blog!!!

So, let me say at the onset......this is going to be a long one!!! That and I also need to tell you I loaded these pics in the wrong order and I could have but do not want to re-arrange them. The stories will be just the same and just as cute!! :)

As you will read later Lukas and his mommy went camping last week. Jesse joined them for the weekend and on the way home they stopped in Grand Haven, and as you can see someone had a superman ice cream cone!!

And it was YUMMY!!!!!

So he ate the whole thing himself!!! :)

They took a walk onto the pier and asked someone to assist them in a family photo!!! It was a beautiful day as you can see!!

What is a camping trip without some s'mores!!

Amy and Lukas spent the week in Pentwater camping with Nana, cousins Kailey, Madison, and Rachael. How lucky to have so many girls around!! I heard they had a blast and that they all love time with their cousin!!

Last night Dave, and I along with Dave's parents headed downtown for a night of entertainment! The West Michigan Jazz Association holds a concert at John Ball Zoo on Monday nights throughout the summer. This was the last night for the summer and so we headed down!

We took along some munchies...sorry for the finger in the shot!!

I am sure that it must have been at intermission here because mom and I are chatting!!!!!! :0

Dave enjoying the music and checking out the CD available for sale!! We had a really nice time. Afterwards we headed down to Little Mexico for dinner. I really did forget how much better the food is there than at some of the other places we have gone since they burned down!!

Glad we finally made it back!!

Now for the BIG news here at our house. For those who have know us for YEARS you may remember that we used to be really big into sailing! Not only did Dave and his family have a sailboat store but, he used to race catamarans and at one point was the North American champion in A-class sailing. Well, since getting the boat out of my folks barn there may(IS) a new boat obsession going on. Another bit of info, not only did he race but we also built our own boats. Soooooooooooooooo.......time to bring those old skills out of the closet!!!

So Dave and Jesse have been doing a lot of on-line research on all the new building techniques. Dave was running some tests on products and then took them into work to weigh them up. Looks like I may have to warm up my sanding arm!!!! I told Dave I would help but, only if I can sand in the living room and we can rent Roots to watch while I do it!!! AHHHH the memories!!!

There we go I am caught up again.....good thing as it may be a busy week.
