So I know that I have been slacking on the blog...I have all kinds of excuses but no really good reasons!!
I made it my mission to catch up so this is one of about 4 blogs I am doing over the last 2 days. They are not is order but at least you get a feel for what we have been up to!!
Last week Lukas spent the day with us. Gpa has been waiting for enough snow so he could take him sledding!!
They had a lot of fun!!
Earlier in the day aunt Sarah came over and we had plans for a few crafts to finish up with Luks!
It didn't take him long to get creative!!! We had painted his hand just before this and so he helped her paint hers!
He also painted some choo choo ornaments.
I just LOVE the look on this boys face!!!!
He was really concentrating on making sure the entire ornament was filled with paint!!
And with picking out just the right colors!!
At one point he found if he painted the bottoms he could use them like stamps!!
This must have been just before he filled it with paint!!
Then he painted himself a nice bright yellow...I think he wanted to be like Rudolf only he didn't want the same color!!
I won't tell you how much paint he had up that nose.....he was blowing paint for awhile!!
He also decorated aunt Sarah!!!
Clean up time!!!
He wanted to do it all by himself....that seems to be the way things are now a days!!
We hung out the rest of the day and we played with Thomas and friends!
We had been using the box as a workbench but then he decided he should sit in it instead!!
I could not believe it when he was able to get into it and sit!! But, I will admit that the words on the box are very appropriate!!!
At the end of a long day it is always the best to be able to cuddle up with Gpa and take a little snooze!!!
