With this blog I am officially caught up!!!
So last week we had "The Blizzard of the Century"!!!! OK, technically it is the first big blizzard of this century, but you sure would have thought it was the end of the world to hear the local weathermen!!! For days in advance they were comparing it to Armageddon!! People around here were referring to it as "Snowmagedon"
We did wake up to about 13 inches!
Dave, being the true blue employee that he is insisted on trying to get in to work!
He got out the ATV and the plow and started to move the snow around!
It was COLD!! And he didn't have too many places to go with the snow!
He also decided to make the trek with my Jeep!!! Man is he lucky I let him use it!! :}
I went out later in the day and worked for about a hour trying to clear out the end of the drive, after snowplow, so he could make it in!
I got just enough snow moved and then it was the snow blowers turn. The plow couldn't throw the snow far enough!!

While I was diligently helping Dave work to move all that snow, shoveling, sweating, trudging......some horrible person shot me with the icy pellets from the snow blower!!!
It was so much worse than it looks because it melted a little before I got the camera!!

Something looks a little sad sitting in all that snow....but don't dis pare it won't be long!!!
I liked how the sun shined through the snow!

Well, that was last week....so what do we do this week......the temps warmed up a little so out came the boat parts and sanding ensued!! One REALLY good thing is that awful name is now off one of the hulls!!
On another note I am getting a tad worried that we haven't seen hide nor feathers of the owls lately. Usually by this point I see them hanging around the nest box making sure no one else tries to move in! Grrrrrrr
In the mean time we have had some pilliated woodpeckers that are destroying the trees around the yard!
