I'm Baaaaaccccckkkkk!!!!!!

I usually only allow Lukas the chance to take over the blog but, decided to let Sarah and Dave give it a try. I think they now realize it is a little more time consuming than they thought!!! :)
First I must go back a few days and fill you in on Mother's Day....... First Sarah and I spent the day together getting pedicures and shopping and a nice lunch at Olive Garden. On Sunday Jesse, Amy, and Lukas joined us for the day. We had a nice day hanging out together. As you can see there may have been a little bit of Wii-ing going on!! I won't tell you who won!!
Somebody wanted to play too, unfortunately he was denied the opportunity.....Sorry buddy!! He took the denial with a smile!!

From Ward's v-burg edition I received a most wonderful Mother's day gift......they had gone and had family photo's taken.......Love Love Love!!!

And look at this FACE!!!!!!

Thank you to all my kiddo's I had a great day!!
Then it was time to take the trailer out for it's shakedown tour. Dave, Sarah and I took off for Brown State Park near Bloomington, Ind. As you know from their posts we didn't have the greatest weather. Oh well it was fun to get away and spend time together. So what to do......let's puzzle!!!

We made great progress the first night!!

Here was were the really cute video of the finished product would be if blogspot would have let me upload it!!!

We had a nice time and another rainy trip home. When we got here.....and I know this will shock ya'll, but Dave had to mow the lawn ASAP. Afterwards we noticed this behind the house. Luckily it missed the house by literally 3 feet. The tip was right at the back window. The joys of living in the woods!!

.

I was sure that when we returned that the owlets would have found their way out of the nest box. As you can see I was wrong!!

They have really grown and are making real progress in getting comfortable.

Then yesterday afternoon I noticed them really stretching and looking out of the box.

I grabbed the camera and spent sometime watching them.Or should I say they watched me!!

Last night Dave was watching the video TV (yes, we have a small TV hooked right to the box!!) and saw one of the babies made it into the opening!!! It will just be a matter of days now and they will leave the box!!

I am hoping that they stay close to the house this year, like last year so we can keep an eye on them again. I will keep you updated!!

AHHHHHhhh so good to be back!!
