Nail biting!!

I went to Wayland Union Schools, and this year my nephew Travis plays on the varsity b-ball team. This year the team went 20-0 in the conference, so it was on to district play. Sarah and I went to watch the first game.....ironically it was against Caledonia (where the kiddo's went to school.) Here is Trav in warm up mode!

Of course my sissy Nancy had to schmooze with the crowd!!

As everyone knows there are rituals that you have to maintain in any game. My sister Janet has wanted to come to a game..... BUT......after they had won so many games without her the worry was they might lose if she showed up!!!

Here they are getting some game advice from the coach!!

In conference play Wayland put the hurt on Cali, but this time........ummmmm NO!!! It had me biting my nails and pulling my hair. When Wayland was ahead by 14 points and within a few plays they were tied I started looking to see if Janet was hiding in the stands somewhere!!! :) :)

Both teams played hard. It was down to the last seconds. I lost a few years of my life, and it isn't even my kid or my school!!!! When all was said and done they won 61-57......OMG could it be closer? At one point in the game one of the other parents came to sit with us and said she was going to throw up!! If Janet was there she must have left just in time!!! hehe

Go 22!!!

So they move on to the next round....I will not be there to watch. I figure I lost at least a couple years of my life and I don't have that many to spare!!! Way to go guys....keep up the good work!
