What we do!

We have been having an unusual stretch of nice weather, and we took advantage and got a lot of the yard work done. I will not bore you with pics of me with the blower and Dave raking. But, I will be more than happy to bore you other pics of thing we did!!!
Friday night Sarah met us after work at our local Mexican restaurant and we most certainly did not imbibe in any alcoholic beverages!!!

Especially Sarah.....nope not my little girl!! They make the yummiest margarita's here!!

Sarah has been obsessing about a Mini Cooper. She LOVES them. So on Saturday she found one she was interested in and we went for a test drive. You could see the smile on her face if I hadn't deleted the wrong picture from the disc!!!

But, unfortunately this one was without cruise control!! Seriously who has a car without cruise control these days........Like she said if it had it , she would have been bringing it home!!!

On the owl front......Hootie is just hanging out in the nest box and Blowfish in the trees near the nest. She will head out for a few minutes at dusk and we hear them monkey chatting then. We just wait for the eggs to hatch!! I did go outside to see it I could spot them in the dark and heard some noise in the woods. At first I thought it was the neighbors dog and then I saw it was a coyote. We hear them now and then but this is the first time in 20 years we have seen one!!

On Sunday we made a BIG move!!!
After 3 years and NO procrastination on our part we decided to grout the kitchen. So we moved all the stuff out.........

Covered all the granite.........

and started the work.....holy c%$# what a nasty job!!

YES......I helped.....and not just for pictures either. I really helped and I have the sore hands and back to prove it!!

and for anyone who has done this before......seriously how many times can you wash something before it is clean......1,2,3,4,.... times. Then I applied a haze remover and if I do say so myself it looks great!!!!

I am so happy with the results...now a little sealer and some paint (when Dave and I can AGREE on a color) and we can finally say the kitchen is DONE!!!

I played around with the settings on blogspot and I am trying again to upload a video. Let's see if it works??? I just uploaded the last video on this disc to try it. You can see it is a few weeks old. Lukas was enjoying a day in the snow. I am sooo glad it is working and you can now enjoy the cuteness that is Lukas!!

Aren't you glad Dave bought me a camera I can take anywhere?!?!?!
